C’m on guys, it’s candel march time :((

C’m on guys, its candle march time 😦 😦 😦

One more rape, in which media have shown interest (otherwise rape incidences are daily) 😦 😦

They will earn TRP and we will join mass protest through forwarding messages, holding banners and lighting our favorite candles. After few days, media will be busy searching new scoops and we will enjoy ‘Babli badmaash hai’ 😦 😦

No matter, how sarcastic this you will find, let’s honestly confess it as a pure truth. We talk about respecting women but, believe me, we are taught not to 😦 😦

Majority of our films have at least one woman who is portrayed as sex object! Our songs and their lyrics, which we keep on listening repeatedly, have a language and tone to support this. Lead heroines are doing item numbers and we expect respect for women in common person’s mind. Commoner’s mind will unconsciously learn ‘woman-respect my foot!’ 😦 😦

Majority of ad industries symbolizes women as object of desire and use. Their clothes, body language, voice or message conveyed is erotic!  Commoner’s mind will unconsciously learn ‘woman-respect my foot!’ 😦 😦

With smart phones and internet, pornography is in pocket now. Every single clip will make you learn that women are sex-hungry bitches and all they deserve is a good f**k. Commoner’s mind will unconsciously learn ‘woman-respect my foot!’ 😦 😦

Our corrupt legal system, fail to take desired action, most importantly in a desired time frame. Message society will get is ‘nothing will be done, proving and arguing takes lot of time and that can be managed too!’ Commoner’s mind will unconsciously learn ‘woman-respect my foot!’ 😦 😦

Our gurus and idols  are involved in sexual exploitations and backed up heavily by their disciples! Commoner’s mind will unconsciously learn ‘woman-respect my foot!’ 😦 😦

Our women, in desperation of achieving and showing their freedom, behave boldly in public (through her attitude, body language, communications etc.) are misinterpreted as available one. This misinterpretation is also an effect of ‘woman-respect my foot’ psyche! 😦 😦

Rape, sexual exploitation, sexual abuse etc. are severely under-reported. For one reported case, there must be hundreds un-reported cases. We will light candles and hold banners but tell me honestly, will this increase woman’s respect in our mind?!! I do not think so, problem is very deep rooted. Protesting as part of attention seeking and making laws will never solve this problem unless we are taught to respect women by sources from which we form our mind set 😦 😦 😦

I’m not writing this for you to agree or disagree with my views, this is just for stimulating your thinking process in right direction. 🙂

Dr… your points to be noted but when there is problem with root, we cant expect good fruit . women let themselves to be an object . you just see Priynka , her latest item song ‘nachegi pinky’ is a nice number with best music ,even me too love to listen its music but words … paise fenk and all … it misguide mind of teenagers and youngsters for their vision of seeing a woman . whats the need to make this kind of item songs and if there is need , there needed to be itemboy and itemgirl .
our world is where women are second sex . no need to expalin such person like you but all govt . need to do is ,this kind of chip songs , porns must be blocked .
there are lots of illegal pornfilms on internet ,that needed to be banned that is taken without couple or girls permission . and its my keen observation that , the people dont respect woman , cant get respectful daughter or sister … its rule of nature . nature judges all 🙂

may we, the women think same way about men!

    1. Man may not have a respect for a woman, whom he might be praising her publicly
Woman may be wanting to be like a man, whom she might be hating publicly

Very truly said I agree with you Sir. After so many experiences mainly in buses & trains I think that our previous system of man working outside and women doing household work was great. Most of the men look women as sex object & Very sorry to say,but this is fact that even housewives they also don’t see working women with respect. How can you expect them to teach their children to give respect ?

  4. I totally agree with you sir but i don’t agree with the comments of the ‘niki raju’ as he talking about banning the things which can’t work. the real time example of it is alcohol ban in gujarat and you know it very well sir. so what i feel is, we need to change our thinking and teach others to do the same. if you are thinking that item songs and all must be removed from the movies to stop all this is something like banning all the vehicles like bike, cars, etc from roads to stop road accidents which in not feasible. we can’t ban people to drive car but we can teach them to drive carefully. Isn’t it sirji?

    1. Certain things are impossible, to put ban on pornography is one of them 🙂
People know how to get it even if you prohibit, like alcohol in Gujarat :))

All these efforts should be done in parallel by all. Govt. should ban pornography and erotic contents on internet and entertaining media and other side people should judge whether it is good to society or humanity or not. Bollywood often says that we provide only those things what society asks for. That means changes should be from society.

  8. Recently there was a article published in print media titled “‘Alcohol use in movies drive young adults to drink more’

    Read more at: http://news.oneindia.in/international/alcohol-use-in-movies-drive-young-adults-to-drink-more-1451503.html

If alcohol in movies drive young adults to drink then is it possible explicit sexual scenes in movies drive young adults to have sex? Also there are lot of sexually explicit video games available. Are they affecting kids’ mind?

However, the people who believe in communism/feminism will not agree with you. According to them if male are unable to control themselves then it is their problem. Female should be given full freedom for whatever she want to do. There should not be restriction on her.
