QUEEN
When loved one prefers to dump you for what s/he perceives about you, you have two choices. One, accept his/her perception, go in self-pity or complaining mode and brood worthlessness within. Second, preferable one and require internal strength, you go exploring the self, know your real worth and move on defying his/her perception. After a long interval Bollywood has given meaningful movie made with heart and feelings. If you can go beyond screen and scenes, this movie has to offer lot many seeds for contemplation.
Well written storyline could have been more tighten by smart editing and more effective by better background score. Title song and Hungama remix are foot tapping and appropriately placed. Dialogues are very effective at places, naturally written by women, Anvita Dutt and Kangna Ranaut.
Kangna is superb with her emotional roller-coaster, definitely one of her best. Lisa Heydon is impressive. A perfect release on woman’s day.
Sidhi baat, no bakvaas:
Treat for those who like to think and entertaining for others. Go and watch, at least you will not regret for time and money spent.
Movie Wisdom:
- Never yearn for an acceptance in relationship, instead walk away gracefully.
- It is alright if someone doesn’t realize your worth but it is unfortunate if you don’t!
- Transformation does not mean that you change outwardly or adopt other’s culture, its journey within and renewing your inner-self.
- Life may not reward your simplicity, you need to decide whether to complain or move on with what you have.
